Matt started out his tennis career 11 years ago in OUR own Erin Tennis Club junior programs and currently captains the InterClub A team.
In addition to winning numerous ETC Club Championships, Matt has participated in several OTA provincial tournaments (finalist in the Chatham Open & placing 3rd in the Caledon Fall Colours Open) and was a former top 100 rated junior in Canada before playing 4 years of NCAA University tennis in Pennsylvania and New York. Having now returned home, Matt has now taken up pickleball (he played his first tournament in Oshawa just this past November and won the 4.0 Men’s Singles title at the Tournament of Champions) and an enjoyment in coaching both sports.
When not on the courts, Matt can be found on the ice (he represented the Blitz in 2023/2024), confusing those who have seen him playing tennis by stick handling lefthanded or playing basketball (with both hands!!!)…
Louise is a former OTA ranked junior, who now resides in Belfountain village and currently captains our ICTA Majors Ladies team.
Continuing her tennis career stateside, she received a full scholarship & had the distinction of playing 4 years of NCAA Division II tennis at Georgia Southwestern State University where she graduated as an Academic All-American. Returning to Canada and relocating to Belfountain with her husband and 2 tennis loving boys has meant that Louise has been playing the last 8+ years in tournaments, within local leagues and in the ICTA (both Ladies & Mixed divisions) at clubs such as Caledon, Halton Hills, Headwaters Racquets Club, Belfountain and Erin.
When she is not teaching tennis or spending time in her art studio (Stillwater Atelier), she can be found on the local courts serving up aces or in the skies as a flight attendant serving up drinks while travelling the world…
